සංචාරක ඕස්ට්‍රේලියානු කණ්ඩායම සමග පැවැත්වෙන ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලිය වෙනුවෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් කණ්ඩායමේ පුහුණුකරු ලෙස රුමේෂ් රත්නායක පත් කළ බව ක්‍රීඩා අමාත්‍ය මහින්දානන්ද අලුත්ගමගේ මහතා පවසයි.
ලබන අගෝස්තු මස 6 වැනිදා තරගාවලිය ආරම්භ වීමට නියමිතව ඇත.
දෙරට අතර 20-20 තරග 2 ක්, එක්දින තරග 5 ක් සහ ටෙස්ට් තරග 3 ක් පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතව තිබේ.
ලෝක කුසලානයට පෙර සහකාර පුහුණුකරු ලෙස කටයුතු කළ ස්ටුවර්ට් ලෝ ශ්‍රි ලංකා කණ්ඩායමේ එංගලන්ත සංචාරයේ දී කණ්ඩායමේ පුහුණුකරු ලෙස කටයුතු කළේය.
ලෝක කුසලාන තරගාවලියෙන් පසු කණ්ඩායමේ හිටපු පුහුණුකරු ඉවත් වීමත් සමග ස්ටුවර්ට් ලෝ තාවකාලිකව පුහුණුකරු ලෙස පත් කෙරුණි.
Former test bowler Rumesh Ratnayake was named as Sri Lanka coach on Friday for the home series against Australia starting next month.
The sports minister approved the appointment, Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement.
Ratnayake replaced Stuart Law of Australia, who held the role on an interim basis until the end of the recent tour of England.
Ratnayake made his international debut in 1982 and went on to play 23 tests and 70 one-day internationals, scoring 433 runs and taking 76 wickets.
On retirement, he's been a successful fast bowling coach, and presently works in Malaysia as an Asian Cricket Council development officer.
Sri Lanka and Australia to play three tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20s starting from Aug. 6.
