මෙම ආදර කතාවේ එන පෙම්වතුන් යුවල පෙමට මුල පුරන සමයේ ඇය කන්ද උඩරට පාසලක අ.පො.ස සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ ශිෂ්‍යාවක වූ අතර ඔහු එම පාසලේ ම විදුහල්පතිවරයාය.

දෙදෙනා අතර පෙම් සබඳතාවය ගිය සතියේ අවසන් වූයේ ඛේදජනක අන්දමටය. එය අවසන් වන සමයේ ඇය උසස් පෙළට වාඩි වී ප්‍රතිඵල ලැබූ ශිෂ්‍යාවකි. ඔහු සහකාර අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයාය.

මේ දෙදෙනා කටුගස්තොට තානායමක සිටින බවට ලැබුණු ඔත්තුවක් අනුව ඇගේ ඥාතීන් සහ පොලීසිය එතැනට ගොස් පෙම් යුවල ඔවුන්ගේ ග්‍රහණයට ලක් කර ගත්හ. ඇය පොලිසියට පාපොච්චාරණයක් කරමින් කියා ඇත්තේ මෙම සබඳතාවය දැන් අවුරුදු දෙක හමාරක් තිස්සේ පවතින බවයි. එම කාල සී‍මාවේ ඈ ඔහු සමඟ ගිය තැන් සියල්ලක්ම පොලිසියට අනාවරණය කර ඇත. සහකාර අධ්‍යාපන අධ්‍යක්ෂකවරයාගේ වැඩ තහනම් කිරීමට මධ්‍යම පළාත් සභාවේ අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශය ක්ෂණික පියවර ගෙන තිබේ.

පොලිසිය මෙම ශිෂ්‍යාවට අවවාද කර ඇගේ දෙමව්පියන් වෙත භාර දී ඇති අතර සැකකරුට විරුද්ධව නීතිමය ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයකට එළඹෙන බව පොලීසයි පවසයි.

Assistant Director of Education in Hatton who was earlier a Principal in a school in Wattegama had been suspended after being caught at a Rest House in Katugastota with a female  student who sat the G.C.E Advanced Level examination last year, Police said.
The Assistant Director aged 58 had started the affair with the student when the latter was studying for the G C E Ordinary Level exam two years ago.

He had over the past two years taken this girl to several places, Police said. On being caught at the Rest House, the relatives of the girl had assaulted the Assistant Director of Education.

The Education Ministry of the Central Province had taken immediate steps to suspend the Assistant Education Director pending inquiry.

Police have handed over the girl to the parents after strictly warning her.
