Student Dies In An Attempt To Catch A Thief

සොරකු අල්ලන්න ගොස් 16 හැවිරිදි සිසුවෙකු මරුට

මහනුවර, තලාතුඔය, ගුරුදෙණියේ සිදු වු වෙඩි තැබීමකින් 16 හැවිරිදි පාසල් සිසුවෙකු  ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව ඇති බව වාර්තාවේ.

ප්‍රදේශයේ ගැවසුණු සොරෙකු ඇල්ලීම සඳහා දෙපසකට බෙදුණු ප්‍රදේශවාසීන් සිදුකළ සෝදිසියක් අතරතුර විරුද්ධ දිශාවෙන් පැමිණි අදාළ ළමයාට අනෙක් පසින් පැමිණි කණ්ඩායමේ බීමත් පුද්ගලයෙකු විසින් වෙඩි තබා ඇති බව පොලිසිය පැවසීය.


සිද්ධියෙන් මිය ගොස් ඇත්තේ, ගුරුදෙණිය ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචිව සිටි තිනුල දම්තිලක රත්නායක නැමති පාසල් සිසුවෙකි. ඔහු දරුවන් තිදෙනකුගෙන් යුත් පවුලේ වැඩිමහල් සහෝදරයායි.

සැකකරු අත්අඩංගුවට ගෙන ඇති අතර සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් තලාතුඔය පොලීසිය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශන ආරම්භකර තිබේ.

A 16 year old student in Gurudeniya, Thalathuya, Kandy has been shot while the people were trying to catch a thief in the area.

The residents in two groups were searching for the thief and one person under the influence had shot at a student who has died in the incident according to the Police.

The victim, Thinula Damthilaka Ratnayake was the eldest in a family of three children at Gurudeniya.

The suspect has been taken into custody and Thalathuoya Police is engaged in the investigations.
